BLS for Healthcare Providers
Certification course designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages including ventilation with a barrier
device, a bag-mask device, the  use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body
airway obstruction (FBAO).  This course is a prerequisite for AHA advanced courses in resuscitation, including
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), & Basic Life Support (BLS)

Heartsaver CPR
Certification course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies,
including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize
warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. Depending on which
combination of modules is taught, (Infant/Child/Adult), the class length may vary significantly.

Heartsaver AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Certification course that teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, infant CPR and relief of
choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid
Certification course that teaches students how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until
professional help arrives. Course content includes general principles, medical emergencies, and injury
emergencies. Adult, child and infant first aid is covered in this course.

Pediatric First Aid
Certification course that teaches students how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes
until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and
environmental emergencies.
•Hours: approx. 1 hour



CPR for Family & Friends
If you would like to learn the life-saving skills of CPR, but do not need certification, there is a simple program
we can run called CPR for family & friends. Gather your friends and relatives at your home or site of choice,
and we will conduct a program for them that covers adult, child, and infant CPR and choking management.
This course is for educational purposes only - you will receive a participation card.

CPR & Pediatric First Aid House Party
Why not try a fun CPR & First Aid House Party? You choose a date and time that is convenient for you
and we will come to your house to teach your family and friends CPR & First Aid. This is much better
than a Pampered Chef party because you can’t save a family member or friend with a $20.00 spatula, but
you could by learning CPR and First Aid!
